Privacy

The Privacy tab in Cloud Account controls how Hemiola handles anonymous device usage data. No personal data is ever collected or transmitted.
Anonymous Device Data
When enabled, Hemiola reports anonymous statistics about the MIDI devices you connect — such as device name, firmware version, and connection type. This data is used to prioritise plugin development and improve compatibility.
- Data is always hashed and anonymised — it cannot be traced back to you
- No preset content, audio, or personal information is ever included
- You can opt in or out at any time using the toggle in the Privacy tab
Known Devices
The Known Devices list shows the devices whose anonymous data has been reported to the server. You can review them, and delete all reported data if you wish.
- Tap Delete All to permanently remove all device data from the server
- After deletion the list will be empty until new data is reported (if sharing is enabled)
Note
You are shown a consent dialog the first time you sign in. Your choice is saved, but you can always change it in the Privacy tab.
